
I created Your wine brand to deter folks from choosing a type of wine based on gender stereotypes. Instead of classifying rosé as a drink specifically for women or red wine as masculine I decided to create a brand that encourages any type of wine for any type of person. This wine is for everyone, no occasion, gender, or place. It's your wine.

This is a piece conceived out of emotion. It is evoking a mental state of the idea of “holding it together." The chaos of the ink and texture shows the chaos of how it can feel to be slowly unraveling. The piece is in two pieces; rather than coming apart, the obsessive stringing of the thread holds the piece together. This is representational of the concentration it can take for one to in fact “hold it together.” The piece is pulled taught, it is at its physical capacity.
